While others may have stepped back from their busy schedules, Graeme Sinden and Con Migro continue to promote and spread the word of Speedway through Graeme’s social media outlet “Talking About Speedway” on Facebook, YouTube, print media and over the airwaves on WA commercial Radio.

From Graeme’s Perth based recording studio the pair churn out weekly video Podcasts for their Facebook and YouTube viewers and record two independent radio shows ‘The Spirit of Speedway’ on SEN Radio 621am, and ‘Let’s Talk Speedway’ on 91.3 Sport FM. The print media component reaches hundreds of thousands of dedicated viewers per season.
They also produce and record a 30-minute video program ‘Let’s Talk Sprintcars’ which is shown on the Big Screen at the Perth Motorplex to entertain patrons as they enter the venue prior to each Speedway meeting. They also continue to provide broadcasting and commentary roles at selected race meetings.
Clearly their passion for the sport motivates them to maintain their busy schedule, despite their senior status, particularly through the busy six-month long Perth’s ‘Summer of Speedway’ season.
Reflecting on the shows' success, Graeme says, “both radio show ratings continue to rise and there appears to be an appetite for the shows we produce. I guess it’s convenient for fans to tune in and listen to the radio as they work, or go about their normal daily activities without having to dedicate a full 30 minutes to watch a video. I continue to be amazed by the number of people, who tell me how much they enjoy our radio programmes”.
He adds, “Speedway is a multi-billion-dollar business (per annum) and radio station producers are now tapping into this valuable market segment”.
Looking ahead, Graeme says, “age is just a number and we will continue to pursue our media activities so long as we are enjoying ourselves and people continue to support what we do”.
