August 19, 2020 Notice of Recall: 3” Black Webbing Seat Belts and Certified to SFI Specification 16.1

To All Racers, Sanctioning Body Officials, Equipment Wholesalers and Retailers, This black webbing has been found to be non-compliant with SFI Specification 16.1.

All 3” BLACK webbing by Ultra Shield Race Products must be immediately be removed from service and returned to Ultra Shield Race Products. This recall only includes Ultra Shield Race Products 3” Black webbing only, other colors AND belts made from all 1.75” webbing are not affected by this recall. Recall issued on latch and link part numbers listed below:

3” Black belts affected have an SFI expiration date of December 2022 sold prior to August 1, 2020 Ultra Shield Race Products will replace at our expense on the above listed belts. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

RECALLED Ultra Shield Race Products, LLC – All 3” Black Latch & Link Belts with a DEC 2022 expiration date and sold prior to August 1, 2020 are recalled. The colored webbing is not affected. Belts made from 1.75” webbing are not affected.
